Autonomy is easy to describe and difficult to trust. The practical interface is often an approval step: a person sees what will happen and decides whether the agent should continue.
Show the delta
Approval is faster when the user sees what changed, which sources were used, and what side effects will occur. A generic “continue?” button hides the useful information.
Design for correction
A good approval surface makes edits cheap. People should be able to adjust a draft or remove one action without restarting the whole workflow.
